Összefoglaló szövege

Introduction
One characteristic of postmodern and consumerist society is that in many areas, within different professional frameworks and communities, we carry out our everyday activities. As an element of group dynamics, regardless of the professional field of work, the phenomenon of mobbing, also known as workplace harassment, appears. The phenomenon is not new in the world of work; the literature has been documenting it since the 1970s. Mobbing encompasses the concept of psychological terror, which manifests as mental and emotional pressure. It is typical in the world of work for one or more individuals to target a victim, making their life difficult in the workplace. The phenomenon of mobbing occurs more frequently in strongly hierarchical organizations such as the military, education, and healthcare. In this case, its occurrence within the healthcare sphere is brought into focus.
Aims
The aim of the planned research is to explore the extent of the phenomenon of mobbing among healthcare professionals. Furthermore, it aims to assess the damages caused by mobbing at both the individual and organizational levels. Based on the obtained results, the goal is to develop a solution proposal that enables the minimization, prevention, or effective management of mobbing.
Methods
A literature review was conducted, covering both Hungarian and English literature using the keywords "bullying" and "mobbing." Subsequently, the search was narrowed down using the keywords "healthcare" and "nurse."
The planned research will be carried out using a questionnaire method. The subjects of the questionnaire will be healthcare workers, including both inpatient and outpatient care.
Conclusion
Literature reviews regarding the phenomenon of mobbing in the healthcare sector indicate that nursing staff is predominantly affected, although medical teams are not exempt from it either. Numerous foreign studies underscore the relevance of the topic for workplaces in the present era. Despite the prevalence of the phenomenon in domestic contexts, there is limited research in Hungarian literature on healthcare-related mobbing.

Keywords: mobbing, bullying, healthcare, psychological terror
