Background
In our research, we conducted a questionnaire validation (n=300) to evaluate the impact of the Újbuda Health Development Office's (HDOs) disease prevention programs on the health-related attitudes of participating elderly individuals. Our study examined both new and regular visitors to the HDO office and assessed disease prevention awareness among over-60s who have not visited the HDOs.

Aims
This study aims to validate the effectiveness of the health promotion interventions by the Újbuda Health Development Office through the validation of questionnaires, with a specific focus on enhancing disease prevention attitudes among elderly populations. The study also seeks to uncover the informational barriers preventing elderly non-participants from engaging in office programs, guiding future educational efforts.

Method
During our research, we had participants fill out the questionnaire twice, one week apart. We assessed the internal consistency of the questionnaires using Cronbach's alpha, supplemented by correlation analysis and the Intraclass Correlation test. During data collection, a panel of experts (n=3) reviewed the content validity of the questionnaires to ensure the relevance and comprehensibility of the questions. We used the Mann-Whitney U test to measure changes in attitudes.

Results
Our findings revealed that the Újbuda Health Development Office had a positive impact on the disease prevention attitudes of elderly individuals (p<0.05). Additionally, the questionnaire validation showed that the average correlation coefficient of the individual questions was above 0.8, indicating strong internal consistency as measured by Cronbach's alpha and the Intraclass Correlation test.

Conclusion
The impact of the Újbuda Health Development Office has a favorable effect on the health-related attitudes of elderly individuals in the short term, which, although diminishing, is sustained over the long term. Individuals who had not visited the office mostly cited a lack of information. Our consistent questionnaires measured the results, which provides a basis for expanding our sample size.
